Hey there! Welcome to SiteDestination.com (we also call it Global Destination Guide). This is our Privacy Policy, written in plain English so you actually understand what we do with your info. We hate those 20-page lawyer walls of text as much as you do.

What personal info we collect and why

When you just browse the site
We collect the usual stuff any website does: IP address, browser type, pages you visited, time spent, referral source. Mostly through cookies and Google Analytics. Helps us figure out which countries or cities people search most, fix bugs, make the site load faster.
When you use the flight/hotel search widget on the homepage
We don’t process bookings ourselves - the widget is powered by our partners (Kiwi.com, WayAway, Aviasales, etc.). Everything you type there goes directly to them. We never see your name, card details or passport number. At most we get anonymized stats like “someone just looked for tickets to Bali”.
If you subscribe to “Where to go next?” newsletter
We only ask for your email. Nothing more. We’ll send you short monthly guides, hot seasonal deals and quick updates like “Armenia just went visa-free”. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.
If you write to us
Whatever you put in the contact form (name, email, message). We keep it just long enough to reply and maybe follow up if you asked about something specific.

Absolutely not. Never. We earn from affiliate commissions when you actually book through the widgets and from display ads. That’s it.

Newsletter tool (currently Brevo or MailerLite - both EU-based and GDPR-friendly)

All under proper contracts, nothing shady.
How long we keep it

Analytics: max 26 months
Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe
Contact messages: a year or two, then we delete old threads

Want to know what we have? Want everything deleted? Just drop a line to [email protected] - we’ll sort it out fast, usually same day or next.
Californians, Europeans, whoever - same deal, no extra hoops.
Kids
Site isn’t meant for anyone under 16. If we accidentally get data from a kid, we delete it right away.
Security
Full SSL, Cloudflare protection, servers in the US, daily backups. Small team, but we take it seriously.
Changes
If we ever update something important, we’ll stick a banner on the site and change the date at the top.
